Animal Advocates of Moore County

AAMC is a proactive, progressive charitable organization having the unique distinction of owning one of ONLY TWO Feral Cat Sanctuaries in the United States.

In order to help as many animals as possible, AAMC frequently subsidizes responsible treatment.

Therefore, our fees do not cover the full costs associated with treatment.

WE NEED Donations to help with our day to day expenses and costs associated with animal care.  Please help us.

To help with saving animals, please use the PayPal button to the left or mail your donation to our business address:
     AAMC
     P.O. Box 3399
     Pinehurst, NC  28374.
Our tax-exempt number is: 01-0590995.

Every dollar helps a homeless animal!

Who We Are

The mission of Animal Advocates of Moore County is to reduce the number of dogs and cats that are euthanized in Moore County by our low cost spay and neuter program, adoption services, and countywide educational programs. (We are very proactive!) AAMC provides emergency medical services to animals hit by cars if the owner cannot pay for surgery. We have a LOST & FOUND program with a 95% success rate.

Adopting a friend
The adoption fee is a donation ($65 for dogs, $50 for adult cats, and $25 for kittens) unless otherwise specified. This includes the spay or neuter of the animal, rabies & distemper shots, de-fleaing & de-worming.

Please understand that this fee does not cover the total cost of  the services rendered.  AAMC believes it is important to spay/neuter animals and does not want money to be a deterrent to this critical service.  Please consider any additional contribution you deem appropriate.
